About Us
Gandee & Associates, Inc. is a registered engineering firm in the state of Ohio, specializing in surveys, inspections, project design and monitoring for asbestos, lead, mercury, UST/AST, IAQ, and other environmental issues in public and private facilities.

Gandee & Associates also provides engineering and consulting services associated with facility demolition and decommissioning.

We believe that a successful project is one that: reduces or eliminates exposure from targeted hazardous building materials to future building occupants; protects abatement workers and other building occupants from elevated exposure during abatement work; is completed on time and on budget; is performed without environmental emissions; meets all applicable federal, state, and local regulations; preserves building design (appropriate finishes for occupancy, meets code requirements, maintains or improves energy requirements, etc.); and limits the legal liabilities of all parties involved.

We are committed to perform services of the highest quality for our clients. Our technical employees participate in extensive training programs in-house and outside the company in order to stay current with all industry standards, and maintain all necessary state and federal certifications.

In 1979, Gandee & Associates designed, administered, and inspected the first publicly bid asbestos hazard abatement project in the State of Ohio for Hamilton Local Schools in Columbus, Ohio.

Over the last ten years, Gandee & Associates has designed and administered approximately $40 million worth of hazardous materials abatement work. In addition, we have worked with over 35 different contractors in the last five years.

Our project history proves that we can safely and economically perform projects of all sizes and scope.
